Hk 45 Auto - The Heckler & Koch HK45 (Heckler & Koch, .45 ACP) is a semi-automatic pistol designed by the German gun manufacturer Heckler & Koch.

Because the US military had a plan to arm them with .45 ACP semi-automatic instead of 9mm M9 pistols. The Heckler & Koch HK45 was developed with the help of SFOD-D restoration operator Larry Vickers and firearms instructor K Hackathorn. The Joint Combat Pistol program was suspended in 2006 and eventually rescinded due to tire costs for the U.S. armed forces. The M9 pistol remained the standard pistol for the US military until the adoption of the Sig P320 by the US military in January 2017. Although the Joint Combat Pistol program failed, HK decided to make the HK45 commercially available. which pertains to military laws and groups of people.

And shares the same principles of operation of that weapon. It is available in the same t variants as USP. The HK45 is the largest model of the pistol, but a notable attempt to incorporate more ergonomic features than the full-size HK USP chambered in .45 ACP was found in the Heckler & Koch P2000. These include an ambidextrous extended release, ergonomic textured textured finger grip, and adjustable straps to fit a variety of hand sizes.

A newer grip and shoulder strap allows the pistol to sit in the lower weapon hand, contributing to greater weapon control and recoil management. To accommodate a smaller, more ergonomic grip, the HK45 has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds versus 12 rounds for the USP45. The HK45 also added a front d-sliding handle, a Picatinny rail against the trigger guard for mounting accessories, and a polygonal barrel o-ring usp Expert and a pair of models similar to the Mark 23 due to the locked lip more consistently lift the barrel while cycling and increased accuracy.

In 2011, the United States Navy adopted the Special Warfare Alliance Tactical variant of the HK45 under the designation MK 24 MOD 0.

The HK45 is also the first weapon to be produced at Heckler & Koch's new facility in Newington, New Hampshire.

Heckler & Koch also manufactures the Covenant HK45 (HK45C), which can use 8- and 10-round magazines.

The HK45C has the same improvements as the full size HK45, but has more conventional sights similar to the Heckler & Koch P2000. This design still allows the user to adjust the size of the grip via the adjustable straps.

Available as Tactical (HK45T) and HK45 Compact Tactical (HK45CT); these variants include an extended threaded barrel for suppressors and tritium front and rear sights.

Extended threaded barrels compatible with the HK45 and HK45C are also available for purchase from Heckler & Koch USA. HK45 Compact Tactical builds on the rugged, military-grade Heckler & Koch HK45 series of pistols to create the ultimate operator's pistol. The HK45 series of pistols (compact and full-size models) were selected as the first handguns produced at HK's US manufacturing facilities, so it was fitting that the pistol variants would be used by a major US special operations unit.

The HK45 Compact Tactical (CT) is the closest a civilian can get to a military pistol. The HK45 CT standard with a threaded barrel, a 10-round magazine with an extended floor bracket, and a reversible shoulder strap to adjust the feel and belt grip to accommodate individual hand sizes and shooting options.

The HK45 series of pistols were first developed as candidates for the US Army's Joint Combat Pistol program in 2005-6, so it's no surprise that the HK45 CT is so well suited for military, law enforcement and security use. Each HK45 CT comes standard with an optional backstra for a custom fit for any shooter's hand. The HK45 Compact Artifact also fits into the Truglo high profile scopes – made exclusively by Heckler & Koch, which are suitable for use with or without a suppressor.

HK's proprietary internal mechanical reduction system reduces recoil forces on weapons and shooters by as much as 30%, increasing shooter control in rapid fire and extending component life.

"O-Ring" barrel means better barrel slide lock and improved accuracy. And the threaded barrel on the HK45 CT was made using the famous HK cold hammer for the upper forging process.

The Compact Tactical uses all HK45 magazines, from a 10-round magazine to a smaller 8-round capacity. A Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail for mounting lights and accessories is molded into the HK45 polymer frame.

The HK45 Compact Tactical is currently available as a conventional double-action/single-action pistol (the V1 model with the safety/release lever mounted on the left frame) and as a "slick side" LEM (law mode) V7 model using a double action trigger HK only and no external safety / bar trim. Other special ignition modes can be ordered or converted from existing V1 or V7 models. This includes a total of nine fire modes, including the lever mode (V3) found in special operations variants and additional variants with deck function and manual lever protection on the left or right side of the gun.

In the 1960s, Heckler & Koch perfected the famous polygonal technology. Conventional ground and barrel circulation allows propellant gases around the front of the bullet to escape from the fired barrel. The polygonal shape of the opening effectively seals the propellant gases behind the bullet - increasing bullet velocity. The use of a polygonal tube also added to its resistance. A polygonal barrel will normally last a conventional "land and groove" barrel for thousands of rounds. Polygonal barrels were one of the many radical design elements used in the HK P7 pistol series, and the same innovative technology is present in all HK pistols.

Completely new materials were used for the P9S pistol in the late 1960s, advanced polymers were soon used as major parts and assemblies in various HK products - including MP5 receivers from the 1960s. look at the VP70. Heckler & Koch pioneered the use of polymers more than fifteen years before the competition. Today, HK remains a technological leader in the use of innovative high-strength polyamides. The HK45 was developed as an improved version of the great looking USP45, first released in 1995. The .45 ACP caliber was released. The HK45 includes several user-inspired improvements including grip plates (backstraps), Picatinny MIL-STD-1913, and a better accessory rail. ergonomics and more ambidextrous controls.

Along with the HK45 Alliance, the HK45 was developed as a possible candidate for the Combat Pistol (JCP) and Combat Pistol (CP) programs of the US military in search of a new service pistol to replace the 9mm M9. These programs were suspended before completion and no guns were selected.

The HK45 uses HK's proprietary barrel-to-barrel O-ring for precise barrel-to-barrel sliding and optimal accuracy. HK45 barrels are made using HK's famous cold hammer forging process for superior performance.

The internal mechanical recoil reduction system using a unique HK system reduces the recoil force by 30% of the traditional weapon and the shooter, improving the shooter's control during rapid fire and extending the life of the component. Capable of firing standard .45 ACP through +P ammunition, the HK45 combines the accuracy, modularity, durability and minimum 20,000 round life of the famous USP45 series with the improved ergonomics of the P2000 series pistols. HK45 models can also be fitted with threaded barrels for the use of muzzle-loading silencers.

Every HK45 comes standard with the addition of a rear strap; Medium and small convertible straps create a better fit for larger shooters' hands and complement the ergonomic grip profile.

An improved USP-style control lever, a combination safety and release lever, is frame-mounted on the HK45 and is quickly accessible. The HK45 control lever has a positive detent and returns to the "fire" position after release.

Using the modular approach to internal components first introduced by HK in the USP, the HK45's function lever can be turned from the left to the right side of the gun to accommodate shooters (additional parts required). The left and right mounted levers provide the necessary safety control and/or release functions and can be placed on the gun with modified parts. For true ambidextrous use, the control lever can also be placed on either side of the gun if needed.

Suitable for defense, the HK45 is available or can be converted to several variants that use different firing modes, including double action/single action (DA/SA) and DAO (double action). The DAO mode uses a unique Heckler & Koch LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) firing system with an improved double action trigger pull.
